We are searching for a skilled Cloud Security Analyst / Engineer to bolster the security of our cloud environments. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in protecting our cloud-based systems, networks, and data. You’ll design, implement, monitor, and continuously improve security measures to uphold the organization’s data integrity, confidentiality, and availability within the cloud.

What you’ll do

Key responsibilities

  • Security assessment and remediationConduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and prioritize remediation efforts within AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud environments.

  • Incident response and investigationParticipate in incident response activities, including detecting, analyzing, and mitigating security incidents in the cloud.

  • Security tools and controlsDesign, implement, and manage firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, and other security tools.

  • Access managementDevelop and enforce robust identity and access management policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate access controls and user provisioning across cloud services.

  • Compliance and policyMaintain compliance with standards and regulations such as SOC 2, NIST, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR. Develop and update security policies as needed.

  • Collaboration and educationCollaborate with development, operations, and other teams to integrate security practices into cloud workflows. Provide security awareness training to relevant personnel.

What you bring

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a security analyst, security engineer, or other cybersecurity role focused on cloud environments.

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture principles and security best practices.

  • One or more industry-recognized cloud security certifications, such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CCSP, or CCSK.

  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with threat modeling and penetration testing techniques.

  • Familiarity with cloud-native security solutions and services.

  • Understanding of DevOps principles and the integration of security into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or a relevant field.
