What you’ll do
Key responsibilities
Program strategy and developmentDesign and implement a comprehensive online safety program aligned with our mission, values, and current risk landscape. Set strategic goals and KPIs to measure impact.
Policy development and enforcementCreate and maintain online safety policies, community guidelines, and content moderation standards. Work with legal and policy teams to reflect changing legislation and practices.
Educational initiativesDevelop educational resources and campaigns about cyberbullying, harmful content, online predators, and other safety issues for users, parents, and educators.
Risk assessment and mitigationProactively identify online safety risks and implement mitigation strategies including technology solutions, user reporting systems, and external partnerships.
Incident response and crisis managementEstablish and manage processes for responding to online safety incidents, including escalation procedures and collaboration with crisis management teams.
Data analysis and reportingAnalyze user data and feedback to identify safety trends and patterns. Generate reports that track program effectiveness and inform decisions.
External partnerships and collaborationBuild strategic partnerships with non-profits, law enforcement, child advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to strengthen online safety initiatives.
What you bring
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, public policy, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in online safety, child protection, or a closely related field.
Deep understanding of online safety risks including cyberbullying, harassment, child exploitation, privacy, and disinformation.
Experience in program development, strategic planning, and project management.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and best practices relating to online safety and child protection.

Expertise with content moderation tools and technologies.
Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies.
Experience in public speaking and delivering training programs.
